The Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) maximizes sales in the prestige category—including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance—by engaging guests, identifying their needs, and assisting with merchandise selection and purchases while following company policies and procedures. The role maintains overall store standards, including cleanliness and replenishment, and supports the Sales Manager through a focus on sales and service performance, guest service and associate culture, operating procedures, and compliance. The position calls for enthusiasm for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge. The PBA helps achieve store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, shrink, and omnichannel sales, with particular attention to prestige products and iconic brands. The role provides personalized service, handles transactions and returns, performs makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations, and supports appointments, services, and in-store events. It also involves ongoing product education, collaboration with store teams, maintaining sales areas and testers, completing operational and merchandising tasks, and following store policies, standards, and loss-prevention practices. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Attendance at corporate business meetings and conferences, including overnight stays, is also required. Working conditions include frequent movement around the store and standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and twisting; continuous lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during a shift.
