The Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) maximizes sales in the prestige category—including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance—by engaging guests, determining their individual needs, and assisting with merchandise selection and purchase. The role follows company policies and procedures while maintaining store standards for cleanliness and replenishment. It supports the Sales Manager through a focus on sales and service performance, guest service and associate culture, and operating procedures and compliance. Success requires a passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge. The PBA contributes to store sales, loyalty, shrink, and omnichannel goals, with a particular focus on prestige products and iconic brands. The role provides personalized guest service, performs makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations, and books appointments and supports services and in-store events. It also includes product education, collaboration and training, maintaining prestige work areas and testers, store upkeep, merchandise and inventory tasks, loyalty-program promotion, loss prevention, and other assigned operational duties. The schedule is flexible and includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position may require attendance at corporate business meetings and conferences, including overnight stays. Work involves frequent movement around the store, standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and twisting; continuous lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds; and continuous coordination and manipulation of objects. The company will engage in an interactive process to consider reasonable accommodations when a disability prevents an associate from performing an essential job function.
