About The Position

Gestamp is seeking an experienced Press Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy, reliability initiatives, and technical teams supporting high-volume automotive stamping operations. This visible leadership role focuses on equipment reliability, team development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The manager will support mechanical, hydraulic, and servo press systems and help keep production operations performing effectively.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background supporting large mechanical, hydraulic, servo, or automated production equipment.
• Experience leading reliability, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and project management.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive stamping experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop maintenance supervisors, engineers, planners, and skilled technicians.
• Drive equipment reliability and uptime across mechanical, hydraulic, and servo press systems.
• Implement and enhance preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout, and company standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable performance improvements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects, contractor relationships, and spare parts strategies.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Tooling, and Engineering to support production goals and new equipment installations.
• Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
