About The Position

The Learning Experience in Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Preschool Teacher to help open a new classroom for young learners. The teacher will create a safe, loving, engaging environment and use the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support children’s early learning and development. The role involves building relationships with families through daily updates, photos, and milestone sharing; collaborating with teachers and center leadership; modeling early childhood education practices; guiding assistant teachers; and meeting state licensing and safety standards. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience; experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center is specified.
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional childcare or teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities
