About The Position

Saint Ambrose Catholic School in Annandale, Virginia, is seeking a joyful, dedicated, and experienced bilingual Preschool Teacher for its early childhood team. The school is a Catholic Two-Way Dual Language Immersion School where children learn in English and Spanish within a Christ-centered community. The teacher will support the school’s 50/50 immersion model and nurture children’s spiritual, academic, social, emotional, linguistic, and physical development. The preschool program emphasizes developmentally appropriate, play-based learning that encourages curiosity, creativity, exploration, language development, and discovery. The teacher will create a classroom where children feel known, loved, safe, and excited to learn, and will participate in the faith, professional, and community life of the school. The position is full-time. The stated annual salary is $50,000–$65,000, commensurate with education, credentials, and relevant teaching experience. Requirements

Fluency in English and Spanish.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; a CDA credential or associate degree in Early Childhood Education may also meet preschool qualification requirements.
Previous preschool teaching experience.
Experience teaching in a dual-language, bilingual, or immersion program or school.
Practicing Catholic or a strong commitment to supporting the Catholic identity and mission of Saint Ambrose.
