About The Position

Agape Childcare Staffing is hiring full-time Preschool Teachers and part-time Floater Teachers for an early learning center in Argyle, Texas. The role follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule. Full-time teachers remain with the same classroom and children, while floaters rotate between classrooms to cover breaks, lunches, and absences and follow each classroom’s lesson plans. Employees are W-2 employees, with payroll and taxes handled by Agape. The company states it has served schools and families across Dallas–Fort Worth for six years and that its office supports employees from their first day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have Pediatric (Infant/Child) CPR and First Aid certification.
• Have coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Education.
• Have at least one year of experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, school, church nursery, camp, or nanny role.
• Have reliable transportation to Argyle.
• Be patient, warm, and dependable.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Be able to lift children up to 35 pounds, sit on the floor and at child-sized tables, stand and walk for extended periods, and keep up with active young children indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that support children’s learning and development.
• Lead or support daily classroom activities that help children learn through play.
• Keep children safe, supervised, and engaged throughout the day.
• Help with meals, naptime, diapering or potty training, and daily routines based on the age group.
• Communicate warmly with families and center staff.
• For floater roles, rotate between classrooms to cover breaks, lunches, and absences, following each classroom’s lesson plans.
