About The Position

Alper JCC Miami Early Learning Center is seeking a Preschool Teacher for its Glen Greenstein Early Childhood Preschool program. The program values exploration, discovery, and play, and aims to provide a supportive, caring environment that celebrates each child’s individuality and fosters empathy. Its curriculum places children at the center of their learning, connecting learning standards to their interests through meaningful, child-originated experiences framed by teachers.

Requirements

• An associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or equivalent ECE credit hours combined with relevant childcare experience.
• A CDA or CCP credential and experience in a licensed childcare setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Reggio Emilia approach.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the program’s philosophy and supportive of children’s interests.
