About The Position

The Goddard School in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, is hiring Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and PreK Teachers. Teachers use Goddard’s Wonder of Learning curriculum to plan and deliver engaging activities that encourage children’s curiosity and learning. They supervise children in classrooms while maintaining required teacher-to-child ratios and a safe, nurturing environment. The role includes building relationships with children and families, communicating with parents at drop-off and pick-up, and participating in school and community events. Teachers work alongside supportive directors and fellow faculty in a modern facility with teaching supplies provided. The school offers support for obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Dependability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well on a team and with limited supervision.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with handling children; Infant Teachers must be able to lift infants into and out of a crib.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred for the Lead Teacher position.
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
One to two years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
Experience working with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

Use Goddard’s Wonder of Learning curriculum to create and deliver engaging activities that foster children’s curiosity and learning.
Build relationships with students and parents, celebrate children’s milestones, and communicate with parents at drop-off and pick-up.
Supervise a class of children while following required teacher-to-child ratios and maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment.
Participate in school community events, including festivals, carnivals, picnics, and Parents’ Night Out.
Work collaboratively with directors and fellow teachers.
