Preschool Teacher
About The Position
Primrose School of Paramus is seeking a Preschool Teacher to provide nurturing care and support young children’s learning and development. The teacher will build trusted relationships with families and help children develop a strong foundation through joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. The school offers a welcoming childcare environment, an on-site leadership team invested in staff growth, engaged franchise owners, and facilities focused on health and safety. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The salary range is $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and education.
Requirements
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
Nice To Haves
- A two-year degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided for the teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
