About The Position

The Learning Experience in Tallahassee is opening soon and is hiring a Preschool Teacher to join its founding team. The teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom and provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The role involves implementing TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum through hands-on, play-based learning and supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The teacher will build relationships with children, families, and coworkers; communicate with families about children’s experiences and progress; maintain a clean, organized classroom; comply with Florida childcare licensing, health, safety, and supervision requirements; and collaborate with the teaching team.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of formal childcare experience.
Completed Florida DCF 45-hour training certificate.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to meet all applicable Florida childcare licensing requirements.
Passion for working with young children.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide care and education.
