About The Position

As a Preschool Teacher at Celebree School™, you will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children and provide educational experiences that support curiosity, exploration, and development. You will help ensure that Celebree’s mission, vision, and values are reflected in classroom activities, and may support classroom Aides as they develop toward becoming Celebree Teachers. The role provides hands-on experience in classroom leadership, curriculum implementation, child development, family engagement, and creating engaging learning environments. You will work with a collaborative team and receive coaching, professional development, and support from an experienced School Director and leadership team, with opportunities for continued growth and advancement.

Requirements

Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
Ability to manage a classroom.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom, including its materials, equipment, and play areas.
Communicate openly and regularly with parents, sharing insights, updates, and information about their child’s development.
Help classroom Aides develop toward becoming Celebree Teachers.
