About The Position

Kama‘āina Kids, one of Hawai‘i’s Top Workplaces, is hiring Preschool Teachers in Honolulu. This role offers a $750 New Hire Bonus and is available for both Part-Time & Full-Time positions. The pay ranges from $19–$25 per hour, based on education and experience. For those not yet Teacher-qualified, there's an opportunity to start as an Aide, with support for obtaining a CDA (Child Development Associate) and gaining the necessary experience to become a Preschool Teacher.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• PATCH-qualified (or eligible)
• 6–12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Passionate, reliable, and committed to early childhood education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

Nice To Haves

• CDA (Child Development Associate)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
