About The Position

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking caring, experienced educators to join their preschool team in Mililani. The organization emphasizes strong relationships between teachers, children, families, and the community. They are looking for individuals passionate about early learning who value a respectful and supportive team environment. Roles may include Preschool Teacher, Infant/Toddler Caregiver, or support staff, all focused on creating a warm, engaging, and safe environment, guiding development through play, building positive relationships, and contributing to a collaborative team.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A love for working with children and willingness to learn
  • 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 2 and under in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (for Infant/Toddler Caregiver)
  • PATCH-qualified (or eligible) (for Preschool Teacher)
  • CDA (Child Development Associate), OR Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (for Preschool Teacher)
  • 6–12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (for Preschool Teacher)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)
