About The Position

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking caring and experienced educators to join their preschool team in Kailua. The organization emphasizes strong relationships between teachers, children, families, and the community, and is looking for individuals passionate about early learning who value a respectful and supportive team environment. Roles may include Preschool Teacher, Infant/Toddler Caregiver, or support staff, all of whom will help create a warm, engaging, and safe environment, guide development through play, build positive relationships, and contribute ideas as part of a team.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • Educators with experience in preschool or childcare settings
  • Teachers who value teamwork, communication, and mutual respect
  • Individuals who enjoy sharing ideas and learning alongside colleagues
  • A genuine love for working with young children
  • Infant/Toddler Caregiver: 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 2 and under in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • Preschool Teacher: PATCH-qualified (or eligible), including: CDA (Child Development Associate), OR Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Preschool Teacher: 6–12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)
