About The Position

C3 is seeking dependable, caring substitute preschool teachers to work with children ages 2–6. Substitute teachers step into different classrooms as needed and help maintain a safe, engaging, and consistent environment by following established lesson plans, classroom routines, teacher expectations, and preschool procedures. The role calls for organized, adaptable team players who support children’s academic, social, and spiritual growth and collaborate positively with preschool teachers and staff.

This is an on-call, as-needed position with variable hours and morning and afternoon substitute opportunities during the 2026–2027 school year. Compensation is a minimum of $17.13 per hour. The position reports to the Preschool Director, Stacie Staniszewski.

Requirements

• Have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and be willing to model Biblical priorities and C3’s core values.
• Successfully complete a C3-initiated background check.
• Have experience working with young children in an educational, childcare, or ministry setting.
• Be dependable and able to work scheduled substitute shifts as committed.
• Be flexible and comfortable stepping into different classrooms, age groups, and routines.
• Be able to follow established lesson plans, classroom expectations, and preschool procedures.
• Bring a positive, collaborative approach to working with teachers and preschool staff.
• Be organized and adaptable.
