About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Preschool Lead Teacher in Hilliard, Ohio. The teacher works alongside other teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience, following NAEYC guidelines. The role provides safety and supervision in one assigned classroom, creates developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities, maintains a warm, clean, and safe learning environment, and communicates and partners with families about each child’s care and education. The position pays $17–$20.50 per hour and has no evening or weekend hours.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Career Pathway Level 3, or a bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks and older in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans that provide appropriate care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
