Child Care Preschool Lead Teacher
About The Position
BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Child Care Preschool Lead Teacher in Hilliard, Ohio. The role works alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in care, following NAEYC guidelines. The teacher is responsible for children ages 6 weeks and older in one assigned classroom and creates developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that reflect children’s interests and learning styles. The position also involves maintaining a warm, safe, clean environment that supports children’s growth and exploration, partnering with families on care and education plans, and communicating effectively with parents and guardians. The position pays $17–$20.50 per hour. No evenings or weekends are required. BrightPath Kids is part of the Busy Bees global childcare community, which has more than 5,000 employees.
Requirements
- An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Career Pathway Level 3, or a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a licensed child care facility.
