About The Position

As a Preschool Classroom Aide, you will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom where children can learn, grow, and develop skills for kindergarten success. The role is active and hands-on, supporting young children throughout the day. You will help promote children's development, well-being, and school readiness while working with teachers, staff, and families.

Requirements

Most importantly, be passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and succeed.
Comfort with standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using hands for classroom activities.
The position may occasionally require driving, working flexible hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Chosen applicant must submit fingerprints for a State of Michigan Background Check to determine employment eligibility.
Possess an acceptable form of identification before attending the fingerprinting appointment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience caring for or working with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.

Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations.
Partner with families through communication, conferences, and home visits.
