About The Position

The Prepared Produce Team Member supports daily operations in the Prepared Produce section, including cut fruit, packaged produce, and fresh juiced items. The role involves delivering exceptional Customer Service, completing daily production, and maintaining clean, well-stocked, appealing displays. Team Members work with department leadership and colleagues to uphold freshness, food safety, and presentation standards and create a positive shopping experience.

The position is suited to someone passionate about fresh, natural, organic, and local produce who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment, and proud to produce high-quality fresh food. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to meet the stated physical demands.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label fresh-cut fruit, packaged produce, and juiced items.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Maintain proper signage and pricing, complying with COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) and Plum Market standards.
• Keep the workspace and backstock area clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, health, and sanitation protocols.
• Support department merchandising, promotional sets, and seasonal resets.
• Assist Guests with product questions and provide friendly recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with Team Members, Store Leadership, and retail Customers.
• Uphold Plum Market policies, procedures, and service expectations.
