About The Position

The Prepared Produce Team Member supports daily operations of the Prepared Produce section, including cut fruit, packaged produce, and fresh-juiced items. The role delivers customer service, completes daily production, and maintains clean, well-stocked, appealing displays. Team Members work with department leadership and colleagues to uphold freshness, food safety, and presentation standards and create a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours without a break.
• Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and push or pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label fresh-cut fruit, packaged produce, and juiced items.
• Stock and rotate products to maintain freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Maintain proper signage and pricing and comply with COOL (Country of Origin Labeling) and Plum Market standards.
• Keep the workspace and backstock area clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, health, and sanitation protocols.
• Support department merchandising, promotional sets, and seasonal resets.
• Assist customers with product questions and recommendations in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Communicate clearly with Team Members, Store Leadership, and retail customers.
• Uphold Plum Market policies, procedures, and service expectations.
