Prep Cook (Full Time)
About The Position
The Prep Cook prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The position prepares ingredients and menu items according to production requirements, established recipes, quantities, and food-safety standards; checks meal quality; and serves customers efficiently and courteously at multiple stations. The role also includes equipment cleaning, food storage and labeling, required recordkeeping, sanitation compliance, and resolving customer concerns. No previous experience is required. This is a full-time position at Roblox Station 2 in San Mateo, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. The pay range is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Obtain the daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
- Prepare items on production sheets in accordance with established quantities and recipes.
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
- Operate and clean equipment according to department procedures after each use.
- Store, label, and date food items according to policy.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and food quality and safety procedures.
- Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Comply with applicable health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
- Complete orders from steam tables and grills, serving customers at multiple stations.
- Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
