About The Position

The Haymaker is seeking an experienced, friendly, high-energy Prep Cook for its North Peoria location. Cooks and kitchen team members help deliver quality food and a welcoming guest experience by following recipes, menu specifications, and food-safety practices. The team is expected to work cleanly and in an organized manner, maintain food quality, communicate with management and coworkers, and grow through coaching and development. This is a part-time position starting at $17 per hour, with additional compensation based on experience.

Requirements

At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a high-paced restaurant.
Food-safety knowledge and safe food-handling practices.
Ability to follow recipes, directions, menu guidelines, and product specifications.
Friendly, warm, caring attitude and positive, can-do work ethic.
Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver 25 pounds.
Flexible availability.
