About The Position

Hank's Seafood Restaurant is seeking an AM Prep Cook to prepare ingredients and recipes that support the kitchen team and the restaurant's dishes. The Prep Cook lays the groundwork for cooking by preparing items such as sauces and sides, working efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality. The role requires teamwork, following directions, and communicating with the chef team in a fast-paced cooking environment.

Hank's Seafood Restaurant is located in a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse overlooking Charleston City Market, with an ambiance reflecting Charleston's port history and family roots.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related professional cooking experience.
• Experience with commercial restaurant cooking equipment.
• Ability to follow sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
• Strong communication skills with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced cooking environment.

• A culinary degree or related restaurant experience is preferred.
