About The Position
The Premium Gift Shop Associate serves as a brand ambassador, combining hospitality and retail expertise to bring Sazerac’s brands to life. The role engages visitors, recommends products, drives sales, and supports a premier New Orleans visitor destination. This is a full-time role working weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, retail, or a guest-facing environment.
- Experience with inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and creating visual displays.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and other non-traditional business hours as needed.
- Ability to lift and move products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver welcoming, educational, and engaging guest experiences.
- Drive retail sales through product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and brand storytelling.
- Support inventory management, including replenishment, receiving, inventory counts, and product transfers.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure products are available to guests.
- Assist with daily retail operations and support sales and guest experience goals.
