Part-Time Preload Supervisor
About The Position
The Preload Supervisor supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor develops relationships with employees, management, and customers; facilitates employee training; ensures compliance with safety policies and applicable requirements; and manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency. The role promotes a positive, team-oriented environment focused on employee involvement, proactive communication, cooperation between departments, and continual improvement. It also supports employee development through orientation, skills and safety training, regular evaluations, coaching, and personal development plans.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, develop, and hold workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance.

- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and that operations comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Implement employee personal development plans as needed.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
