About The Position

This position oversees the processing of outbound parcels at UPS package center facilities. The Preload Supervisor conducts pre-operation checks, manages sorting, loading, dispatch, and post-operation functions, and supervises Part-Time Supervisors, administrative staff, and hourly employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operation checks.
• Manage sorting, loading, and dispatch operations, and perform post-operation functions.
• Supervise Part-Time Supervisors, administrative staff, and hourly employees.
• Analyze previous dispatch results to maximize service performance and streamline routes.
• Ensure outbound packages are processed and loaded and leave the building on time.
