About The Position

The ID Watchdog Solution Engineer (SE) is responsible for supporting the Account Executive and is the primary architect of the consultative sales process. This role involves translating complex technical information into business value, bridging the gap between identity protection capabilities and user needs. The SE will own the technical relationship, designing user journeys and finding solutions to meet client requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a Solution Consultant and/or Sales Engineer, preferably within the Identity Fraud or Financial Wellness industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both C-suite executives and technical developers, making complex program specs easily understood.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% to engage with clients and attend industry conferences.
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop a deep understanding of the complex ID Fraud/ID Watchdog services and technical capabilities.
  • Organized and analytical with ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

  • Deep familiarity with modern integration technologies, including RESTful APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), and web-based embedding (Widgets/IFrames).

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in driving or assisting with software sales in ID Fraud industry.
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Ability to refine and personalize the Workforce Solutions marketing/sales message to provide prospect with the best ID Fraud/ID Watchdog solution based on prospect’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Educate prospects on ID Fraud/ID Watchdog solution capabilities through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate ID Fraud/ID Watchdog products, service configurations, workflows, and deployment methods.
  • Educate prospects on industry norms and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain demonstration environments to accurately showcase product capabilities.
  • Assist with responses to RFIs, RFPs, and Security Questionnaires.
  • Research and present data on the cost benefits of ID Fraud/ID Watchdog products and services.
  • Develop client-customized Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Develop detailed business requirements for customized features, functionality, and integration.
  • Assist with product training for internal employees, primarily the sales organization.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer of client expectations and requirements to Product Implementation, Product Management, and Product Development teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, and other internal partners.
  • Equip teams with voice of client and feature enhancement requests.
  • Attend industry conferences to represent Equifax and gain industry best practices.
