About The Position

Toyota of Murfreesboro is hiring a full-time Pre-Owned Service Technician in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The dealership is under new management and expanding, with a growing volume of pre-owned vehicles and a new facility adding 12 service bays. The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing used vehicles of various makes and models so they are ready for sale. Compensation is competitive flat-rate pay with production bonuses, and a Technician Retention Bonus is available.

Requirements

Strong automotive mechanical and diagnostic background.
Proven experience working on various makes and models.
Ability to assess vehicle needs quickly and produce high-quality flat-rate hours.
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive used-vehicle reconditioning inspections, including multi-point safety and mechanical checks, to prepare vehicles for sale.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles of all makes and models efficiently and accurately.
Repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Work with the Pre-Owned Service Advisor and Used Car Manager to provide accurate repair estimates and digital vehicle inspections (DVIs).
Maintain high production standards to help reduce dealership cycle time from trade-in to sale-ready.
