Pre-Opening Parts Counter Associate - North Austin Nissan

About The Position

North Austin Nissan is seeking an additional counter person for its Parts Department. This is a fun, fast-paced environment. The individual will be onboarded and complete training at the First Texas Honda dealership before moving to North Austin Nissan upon its opening on June 1st. The Parts department is open from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday - Friday and 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday. The schedule may include any of these days, with a maximum of 45 hours per week and no more than 5 days a week. Requirements

  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Answering retail phones and assisting walk-in customers.
  • Answering calls from Service writers to provide proper estimates.
  • Monitoring the electronic parts requisition system from technicians.
  • Pulling parts and delivering them to technician bays.
  • Working with technicians to ensure correct parts are quoted for repairs.
  • Keeping fast-moving parts stocked on the back parts counter.
