About The Position

McDivitt Law Firm is a family-owned Colorado personal injury law firm serving clients through offices in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. The firm handles automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, rideshare, trucking, slip-and-fall, animal-bite, mass-tort, and workers’ compensation claims, and emphasizes compassionate representation, strong advocacy, and exceptional client service. The firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal for its Colorado Springs or Denver office. The position manages personal injury cases from intake through settlement or handoff to litigation. It serves as a primary contact for clients and works with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to move cases forward. The role is hybrid, with a balance of office collaboration and remote flexibility available after training. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 3 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience is preferred.
Ability to work as a team player.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and a full caseload independently.
Experience preparing demand packages.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English preferred but not required.
Typing speed of 50+ preferred.
At least 3 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients and providers during treatment.
Interact daily with existing clients.
Obtain documents needed to support claims.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and account balances.
Work cohesively as part of a team.
Maintain case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands for submission to insurance carriers.
Manage case files under the direction of attorneys.
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or litigation handoff.
