About The Position

McDivitt Law Firm is a family-owned Colorado personal injury law firm serving clients from offices in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. The firm represents people in matters including automobile, motorcycle, bicycle, rideshare, trucking, slip-and-fall, animal-bite, mass-tort, and workers’ compensation claims. The Pre-Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal manages personal injury cases from intake through settlement or handoff for litigation. The role is a primary point of contact for clients and works with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to move cases forward efficiently. The position is based in either the Colorado Springs or Denver office and is hybrid, with remote flexibility available after training. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

At least 3 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience is preferred.
Ability to work as a team player.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Proven experience preparing demand packages.
Ability to independently manage deadlines and a full caseload.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
Typing speed of 50+.

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients and providers during clients’ treatment.
Interact daily with existing clients.
Obtain documents needed to support claims.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and account balances.
Work cohesively as part of a team.
Maintain case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands for submission to insurance carriers.
Manage case files under the direction of attorneys.
