Pre-K Assistant Teacher
About The Position
We are looking to hire a Pre-K Assistant Teacher. No experience is needed, but experience is a plus. We are willing to train, and no prior courses are needed, but online courses must be completed within the first 90 days of employment. The position is Monday-Friday, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, with no weekends, totaling 40 hours. Hourly pay will be determined during the interview based on experience, education, etc. Candidates must complete a background screening (Clearinghouse). Additionally, 45-hour state of Florida child care training courses and CPR and First Aid certifications must be completed within 90 days of employment if not already possessed.

- 45 hour state of Florida child care training courses (90 days to complete if you do not have).
- CPR and First Aid ( 90 days to complete if do not have).

Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily classroom schedule in accordance with our curriculum.
- Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Assist in keeping a safe, sanitary classroom environment.
- Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines in our employee handbook.
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
- Adhering to all Company, DCF, policies and procedures.
- Team Player.
- Must have a love for children and want to make a difference in a child's life.
- Friendly and Approachable.
- Working with Teachers and Assistants inside of Classroom.
