About The Position
The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking a responsible, dependable, motivated, and caring individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-Kindergarten program. Our facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building featuring 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, a gross motor room, and 3 separate playgrounds. We are committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of working in a preschool or group environment.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
- Ability to sustain a high level of activity, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creativity.
- Strong work ethic.
- Positive energy and enthusiasm about early childhood education.

Responsibilities
- Successful classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices.
- Working with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas.
- Parent communication.
- Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment.
