Pre Analytic Technician - Infectious Disease Pathology - Toledo Main Lab
About The Position
As a Pre-Analytic Technician, you will support patient outcomes by conducting tests and analyses that help diagnose and treat medical conditions and by helping ensure accurate, timely test results. The role requires knowledge of test combinations and acceptable minimum specimen volumes, familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations, and the ability to cross-reference tests to specimen types. You will complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations and ensure work areas are clean and stocked. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of combinations of tests and acceptable minimum volumes.
- Familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations and cross-referencing tests to specimen types.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
