Pre Analytic Technician - Infectious Disease Pathology - Toledo Main Lab
About The Position
As a Pre-Analytic Technician in Infectious Disease Pathology, you will conduct tests and analyses that support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and help ensure patients receive accurate and timely test results. The role requires knowledge of combinations of tests and their acceptable minimum volumes, familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations, and the ability to cross-reference tests to specimen types. You will complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations and ensure work areas are clean and stocked. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of combinations of tests and acceptable minimum volumes.
- Familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations.
- Ability to cross-reference tests to specimen types.
