Pre Analytic Technician - Infectious Disease Pathology - Toledo Main Lab
About The Position
The Pre-Analytic Technician supports infectious disease pathology testing at the Toledo Main Lab, helping ensure accurate and timely results that assist with the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The role requires knowledge of test combinations, minimum acceptable specimen volumes, test synonyms and abbreviations, and how tests correspond to specimen types. The technician also performs and logs routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations and keeps work areas clean and stocked. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
Responsibilities
