Pre Analytic Technician - Lab Processing - Toledo North Lab
About The Position
As a Pre-Analytic Technician, you will have a direct impact on patient outcomes by conducting vital tests and analyses that help diagnose and treat medical conditions. You will help ensure patients receive accurate and timely test results. The role requires knowledge of test combinations and acceptable minimum volumes, as well as familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations and how tests correspond to specimen types. You will complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations and ensure work areas are clean and stocked. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of combinations of tests and acceptable minimum volumes.
- Familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations.
- Ability to cross-reference tests to specimen types.
