About The Position

The Physician Practice Supervisor manages all administrative and operational functions for assigned physician practices. The role oversees daily office operations, supports staff performance and development, and helps resolve patient issues. Responsibilities include operational controls such as cash reconciliation and charge entry.

The position is with DMC Medical Group, a network of primary and specialty care providers in greater Detroit and southeastern Michigan, and a partner of the Detroit Medical Center.

Requirements

• College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience working in a physician office.
• At least two years of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Optimize staff performance in the office.
• Schedule staff and assign work.
• Train and coach staff.
• Oversee daily office operations, including cash reconciliation, charge entry, and operational checks and balances.
• Resolve patient issues as needed.
