About The Position

S&ME is seeking an experienced, growth-minded leader to grow and expand its Electrical Transmission & Distribution practice across the organization. The role develops client relationships, pursues new opportunities, and collaborates across S&ME to build the teams, resources, and capabilities needed to grow the market. The position is part of S&ME's Energy Market, which applies a life-cycle approach and provides environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection services to utility and private clients. The Practice Leader will develop and execute a strategic growth plan, pursue business opportunities and revenue targets, build local and national client relationships, and work with internal leaders to scale the practice. The role also leads and mentors multidisciplinary teams, supports quality, safety, and client satisfaction, and champions innovation and continuous improvement. The position is full-time, with competitive pay based on experience, and is located flexibly within S&ME's footprint.

Requirements

Proven success driving revenue growth for geotechnical, environmental, civil, construction materials testing, or special inspection services within Electrical Transmission & Distribution or similar markets.
Strong network and client relationships in the Power & Utilities sector.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in project/program or market leadership roles.
Proven track record of winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the electrical transmission and distribution market.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Electrical Transmission & Distribution market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets for environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection services.
Establish and grow key local and national client relationships in the market.
