About The Position

Lions International is seeking a Coordinator to join their Public Relations team within the Marketing Division. This role is crucial in supporting key programs and processes, requiring a highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven individual with a proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and financials. The position involves empowering service through marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a program coordination, marketing coordination, executive assistant, or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and detailed administrative or financial processes.
  • Experience working with financial platforms, reports, cloud-based file management, and Office suite required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Lions International is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and study in public relations, project management, or coordination preferred.
  • International professional experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational lead for the Marketing Grant Program throughout its lifecycle, including intake, processing, payment coordination, post-report review, and providing status updates to applicants and team members.
  • Provide communications support and customer service to Lions members, journalists, and the public with diplomacy and integrity.
  • Support international convention and sponsorships plenary main-stage events by managing contracts, travel, payments, and logistics for speakers and vendors.
  • Process and track payments for 32 editions of LION Magazine, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting for budgets.
  • Support the marketing team by coordinating calls, managing translation needs, and assisting with presentation development for board of directors meetings.
  • Provide frontline communication support for the PR team by monitoring the PR inbox and updating projects in Wrike.
  • Assist the marketing team with operational needs such as contracts, invoices, divisional finance support, and project management.
  • Provide direct support to the division manager, including board meeting planning, expense reports, scheduling, and marketing coordination.
  • Order and maintain office supplies for the marketing team and provide other administrative support as needed.
