About The Position

Managerial and skilled electrical and mechanical work in planning, organizing, and supervising the work of first line supervisors involved in operating systems and machinery related to power generation, frequency conversion, potable water pumping, raw water pumping, and auxiliary related equipment. Work includes directing all divisional staff in the operating, routine maintenance and minor repairs of water and sewer pumping and control equipment; and related work as required. Position is day shift and on call if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Eight years of utility experience with power generation or frequency conversion or water pumping.
• Two (2) years of which must be supervisory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of Civil Service's Leadership (MGMT 830) course.
• Water Production or Distribution Class IV license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
