About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 1. The technician performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service and avoiding downtime. The role involves servicing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment and may require working indoors or outdoors, depending on the job.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• DOT physical examination (medical card).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
• Familiarity with operating CDI and Munters dehumidification equipment.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring.
• Understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
• Understanding of compressed-air treatment, including dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 25 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment.
