Power Equipment Operator
About The Position
This role is responsible for managing freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. The associate will maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. They will also provide basic maintenance to equipment, ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage, cutting shrink wrap as needed, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Additionally, the associate will organize the warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns, such as upstacking/downstacking empty pallets and upstacking/downstacking freight.
Requirements

- Ability to maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
- Ability to provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).
- Ability to ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage, cutting shrink wrap as needed, and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
- Ability to organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage trailers, upstacking/downstacking empty pallets, and upstacking/downstacking freight).
