About The Position

The ideal candidate will have experience in vaccinations and pullet moves, be a good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others, and be capable of performing physical type work. The role requires the ability to prepare work schedules, adjust to sudden changes in organizing workloads, and work flexible hours. A background check will be performed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
• Good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others
• Ability to perform physical type work
• Ability to prepare work schedules and adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to be on call 24 hours/7 days a week
• Ability to handle vaccine in transport and in chicken houses
• Ability to ensure biosecurity of farms, equipment, buildings, and vehicles
• Ability to complete schedules and service reports
• Ability to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, and water-vac pumps
• Ability to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections
• Knowledge of health & safety of employees

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by the crew.
• Manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.
• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.
• Ensure the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports.
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Perform blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
• Maintain the health and safety of employees.
