About The Position

The Poultry Line Associate is responsible for disassembling poultry and performing a variety of poultry-processing tasks while rotating on the production line. Duties may include deboning or evisceration. The role requires following company procedures, applicable agency guidelines, legal requirements, and safety protocols, including correctly wearing required personal protective equipment. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts, as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment and around raw materials or animal odors.
• Ability to work around noise exceeding 85 decibels, CO2, and moving equipment.
• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
• Wear required protective equipment in all areas where it is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous poultry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform poultry-processing production tasks, such as deboning or evisceration.
• Perform duties in compliance with company policies and procedures, agency guidelines including NCC Animal Welfare and U.S.D.A. requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Follow safety protocols and correctly wear required personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
