About The Position

This postdoctoral fellowship focuses on applied causal inference and statistical approaches for studying health policy. The fellow will work under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Stuart and collaborate with researchers at Weill Cornell on evaluations of mental health policies and services. Projects will involve policy evaluation methods and their application, utilizing large-scale claims and other healthcare data. A strong interest in translating and disseminating statistical methods to broad audiences is also desired.

Requirements

• Training in quantitative methods (Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy)
• Knowledge of causal inference methods (especially policy evaluation approaches)
• Experience with statistical software such as Stata or R
• Strong methodological and computational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or a related quantitative field
