About The Position
The lab of Dr. Liva Rakotondraibe is seeking a candidate for a post-doctoral scholar position. The successful candidate must have relevant experience in fractionation, isolation, and structure elucidation of small molecules with publication records. They will be responsible for performing the bioassay-guided isolations and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites form plant extracts. The post-doctoral scholar will also conduct the maintenance of a dryad account that will host the data generated and will be shared as a project. The post-doctoral scholar will also assist in publishing and presenting the results of the project.
Requirements
- PhD in natural product chemistry or related fields
- Experience in data management
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of experience in natural product isolation, purification, structure elucidation of small molecules with publication records.
- Good experience using HPLC, NMR spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry.
- Experience in curating data using Dryad
Responsibilities
- Performing the bioassay-guided isolations and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites form plant extracts.
- Conducting the maintenance of a dryad account that will host the data generated and will be shared as a project.
- Assisting in publishing and presenting the results of the project.
- Performing the bioassay-guided isolations and structure elucidation of constituents from active extracts.
