The NOAA Center in Atmospheric Sciences & Meteorology (NCAS-M) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to provide direct support and subject matter knowledge on the advancement and understanding of risk communication and risk behavior related to ecosystem science solutions for the nation’s ocean and coastal resources to sustain thriving coastal communities and economies. The postdoctoral researcher will collect and analyze data and make recommendations on streamlining and making communication with the public accessible and actionable. S/he will work independently and collaboratively under the direction of the NCAS-M and the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science office and will participate in research with other scholars at the NOAA and NCAS-M. The position will be located at Howard University and also is expected to spend time at NOAA labs.
