About The Position

We are looking to build the best teams possible with highly motivated and engaged employees. We have an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join one of our Bronx properties. This role is responsible for cleaning common areas and vacant apartments, maintaining exterior areas, collecting and sorting trash, and performing minor handy work such as changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-up jobs. Snow removal during inclement weather is also a responsibility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year or more of Porter experience (building cleaning experience will be considered)
• Heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) is required
• Must be available to work weekends, overnights and/or overtime

Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas and vacant apartments
• Maintain exterior areas
• Collect and sort trash
• Salt and shovel snow during inclement weather
• Minor handy work may include changing light bulbs, replacing blinds and small paint touch-up jobs
