About The Position

Atlantic Pacific Companies is seeking an experienced and motivated Porter for Vista Breeze, an affordable community with 119 units in Miami, Florida. The Porter helps maintain company standards by supporting maintenance, landscaping, and management efforts to keep the property clean and orderly, and to provide residents and visitors with a high-quality living experience. The role requires awareness of conditions that could affect the quality of the living environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Full-time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and one to two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, and general cleanliness.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage time well.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying outdoor temperatures.
• Able to perform physical activities, including heavy lifting and climbing ladders.

Nice To Haves

• Apartment industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain property areas, including walkways, sidewalks, decks, hallways, stairwells, office and lobby areas, patios, sport courts, pool areas and furniture, garages, pet parks, and other amenities.
• Empty and clean trash and garbage containers and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Clean vacant apartments and assist with unit turns as needed.
• Use a blower in common areas as needed and cut and trim grass as required.
• Prepare surfaces and complete assigned painting projects.
• Pressure-clean common areas.
• Ensure inventory items are in good working condition.
• Remain aware of property conditions that could affect the quality of the living environment.
